Photo Trip: Planking

Planking or the lying down game is an activity consisting of lying face down in an unusual or incongruous location. The hands must touch the sides of the body and having a photograph of the participant taken and posted on the internet is an integral part of the game.Players compete to find the most unusual and original location in which to play. The term planking refers to mimicking a wooden plank. Rigidity of the body must be maintained to constitute good planking.
Since early 2011, many participants in planking have photographed the activity on unusual locations such as atop poles, roofs and vehicles, while some "plankers" engage in the activity by planking only their upper body and feet while leaving the back suspended.
Since I've seen lots of photos doing the planking position my friend suggested to take some photos doing the planking  in my house the first one is slight blurry.

Photo Trip: Kalamay & Suman Vendor

Kalamay, also spelled Calamay, is a sticky sweet delicacy that is popular in many regions of the Philippines. It is made of coconut milk, brown sugar, and ground glutinous rice. They can also be flavored with margarine, peanut butter, or vanilla. Kalamay can be eaten alone but is usually used as a sweetener for a number of Filipino desserts and beverages. It is similar to the Chinese Nian gao (also known as tikoy in the Philippines) but is sweeter and more viscous.

Suman is a rice cake originating from the Philippines. It is made from glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk, and often steamed in banana leaves. It is served wrapped in buli or buri palm (Corypha) leaves and usually eaten sprinkled with sugar. Suman is also known as Budbud in Visayan dialects in other parts of the Philippines.

-Reflection-

As a newbie photographer I called this a "reflection" because of it's beauty looks reflected at its other.

-In Science-
A mirror image is a reflected duplication of an object that appears identical but reversed. As an optical effect it results from reflection off of substances such as a mirror or water. It is also a concept in geometry and can be used as a conceptualization process for 3-D structures.

Road Trip: Lemery's Town Fiesta

Location: Lemery, Batangas

I always visit this place when I made a transaction to a bank, but this is my first time to visit Lemery, Batangas on its Fiesta. Lemery is a first class Municipality in Batangas because of it's establishment. I thought that they have their festival called "Tinapa Festival" but they did not celebrate it this year with their patron saint St. Roque.
